In NEO The World Ends with You, players aren’t the only people in the Reapers’ Game. Rindo and his group, the Wicked Twisters, are dealing with the Reapers in Shibuya and Shinjuku. But they aren’t the ones. The latest NEO TWEWY update revealed the Deep Rivers Society, Purehearts, Ruinbringers, and Variabeauties teams also competing for their lives.
First, there are the Ruinbringers. The two members revealed are Susukichi, who’s voiced by Max Udell, and Tsugumi, whose voice actress is Ciara Riley Wilson. Susukichi is talkative, while Tsugumi is quieter. Tsugumi also carries the Gatto Nero brand mascot plush, Mr. Mew.

Next is Deep Rivers Society. Fuya is the leader of the group. He’s voiced by Adam Gold. His mindset is apparently “fight-over-flight.”

The head of the NEO TWEWY Variabeauties team is Kanon. She’s voiced by Xanthe Huynh. She’s known for being an incredibly wise player.

Finally, there’s the Purehearts team. This is a group of people that knows how to effectively use social media. Motoi, the leader voiced by Nick Thurston, is charismatic and tries to stay positive.

NEO: The World Ends With You will release worldwide on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on July 27, 2021. The PC version will come to Epic Games Store in Summer 2021.
