Square Enix has plans to add Oceanic servers to Final Fantasy XIV in a future update. This was announced at the Final Fantasy XIV Fan Fest 2021 event, which revealed many new features coming to the game. However, the Oceanic servers will happen after the upcoming expansion releases. Those in the Oceanic region will have to wait a little bit longer for their own dedicated servers.
That said, Square Enix provided a release window for when the Oceanic servers are coming to Final Fantasy XIV. Players can likely expect the launch with update 6.1, which is coming sometime after Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker.
Final Fantasy XIV Fan Fest 2021 also revealed male Viera, and promised female Hrothgar are on the horizon. However, Square Enix only showed the male Viera. The developers intend to show the female Hrothgar sometime in the future. Additionally, viewers were given a glimpse at an extended Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker trailer. The trailer featured new locations players will visit in the upcoming expansion.
Final Fantasy XIV is immediately available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker will release on November 23, 2021, with early access for pre-orders starting November 19, 2021.
