Yume Nikki-Inspired Dreaming Sarah Has You Enter A Girl’s Comatose Mind

Recommended Videos

Sarah knows that she’s in a coma. She knows that she’s dreaming. But she can’t help but be weirded out by what she finds inside her own mind.

Sarah is the star of Asteristic Game Studio’s newest game Dreaming Sarah. It’s a 2D platformer that takes its weirdness from Yume Nikki. The idea is to wake Sarah up from her coma by traversing a nightmarish dream world, talking to strange characters, collecting items, and solving puzzles.

The items are especially noteworthy as they not only include regular abilities such as an umbrella that lets Sarah float down from heights, but there are more unusual ones such as the shell necklace that turns her into a fish.

If you fancy hopping across giant mouths, eerie forests, dingy bathrooms, and weird alter-dimensions then you can purchase Dreaming Sarah for $5.99 on Steam, Desura, Itch.io, IndieGameStand, and Splitplay.
