As a result of COVID-19, Lamy had to push back and delay several appearances that she had previously advertised. For example, she was supposed to show off her new Live2D 3.0 model on August 12, 2023, which was the same date as her and Cover announcing her COVID-19 diagnosis. She also couldn’t appear on the Sukodawa radio show. Lamy was going to be the guest on the 147th episode, but had to cancel as a result of her illness.

Earlier this year, several Hololive Vtubers had to take a hiatus as a result of COVID-19. Sakura Miko, Murasaki Shion, Minato Aqua, and La+ Darkness all took a break in May 2023. They have since recovered and are currently back to their normal streaming activities.

Yukihana Lamy is a part of the fifth generation of Hololive Vtubers. Some of her fellow livers who debuted at the same time include Shishiro Botan and Omaru Polka. As of the time of writing, Lamy has over 1.14 million subscribers. Aside from gaming streams, she also uploads songs (both covers and original) and simulwatch movie streams.

Yukihana Lamy will take a break from streaming to recover from COVID-19. It’s unclear how long she will be away for. When she returns, she will likely make an announcement on her Twitter page.
