One of the three bonus cards coming with early physical copies of Yu-Gi-Oh Rush Duel is a brand new card. Saikyou Battle Flag Ace Breaker will let the user destroy one of the opponent’s face-up monsters by sending 2 monster cards from the user’s hand to the Graveyard. The other two cards are Secret Rare-styled cards of Dark Magician Girl and Pot of Greed.

Those who pre-order a physical copy early will also have a random chance to receive one of the seven amiibo cards.  The press release exclusively revealed more details on these cards, which have yet to be mentioned on the Japanese official website.

Six of the cards are based on Yu-Gi-Oh! Sevens‘ main characters, Yuga, Luke, Gakuto, Romin, Roa, and Nail, while the seventh character is still unknown. Scanning the amiibo card will unlock a Duelist avatar and Custom parts for the Protector, Deck Case, and Duel Field. Equipping all parts from the same set will allow the user to hear exclusive voices from the character.

Yu-Gi-Oh Rush Duel was initially revealed in Japanese magazines. This new Switch game will have around 350 cards at launch. Konami will release frequent post-release updates to add even more cards into the game.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Rush Duel: Saikyou Battle Royale!! will be available in Japan for Nintendo Switch on August 12, 2021.
