Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Disc Rings Will Appear as Capsule Toys

Yu-Gi-Oh duel disc rings 5ds

Takara Tomy will release duel disc rings from the seven Yu-Gi-Oh series in its capsule toy machines. The line will release in the last week of October 2021. While the rings are obviously too small to use in a real card game, they will still work in showing the world that you are a duelist. Each attempt will cost 300 JPY. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

The rings are made with zinc alloy. They’re about 38 to 52 millimeters in radius. Despite the small size, each ring bears details that help to identify what show it’s from. For example, VRAINS does not have the curve that the other discs have. The duel disc for GX, on the other hand, features orbs on the wristband and in the middle. Meanwhile, the duel disc for Sevens only features three visible slots for monsters, as opposed to the five for duel discs prior to VRAINS.

It is the 25th anniversary of the Yu-Gi-Oh series, and Konami is running several campaigns in commemoration of this milestone. A Kaiba Corporation store will sell items such as boxer pants and posters. There’s also a replica of Kaiba’s suitcase and deck. Aside from merchandise, the game Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel will launch in Winter 2021.
