Sephiroth to be Playable in FFVII Ever Crisis Starting This Week

Square Enix announced during the Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis 1st Official Live Broadcast that young Sephiroth will be a playable character in the mobile game starting September 29. 2023. The game will also update with a new chapter to coincide with Sephiroth’s arrival on Friday.

Players will receive 5 dacha tickets, Blue Crystal currency, and stamina to celebrate the announcement of young Sephiroth coming to Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis. Sephiroth’s 5-Star weapons will also be given to players on September 29, 2023. Max stamina storage will also increase that same day.

Sephiroth will receive his own special costumes in FFVII Ever Crisis. The first alternate costume announced for the game has Sephiroth’s shoulders visible with large white arm guards.

Currently, the Beach Festival Fun event is running in the mobile game, which allows players to unlock a swimsuit costume and umbrella sword for Zack. That is set to end on September 28, 2023 before the new main story update.

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis allows players to experience iconic moments from FFVII and Crisis Core FFVII as well as discover new story content based on the now defunct FFVII The First Soldier battle royal mobile game. This new story content explores the story of Glenn, Matt, and Lucia from The First Soldier and the mysterious past of Sephiroth.

Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is available to play on iOS and Android devices. The Steam version of the game has been announced to be in development. The new update introducing young Sephiroth as a playable character releases on September 29, 2023.
