You Don’t See Free-Roaming Shoot-em-Ups Often, But Here’s One

Project Root, a “modern retake of the shoot-em-up,” will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PlayStation Vita on April 28th, developer OPQAM has announced.

 

The game will include eight large free-roaming levels, with enemies in the the air as well as on the ground. Progressing through the game will allow you to acquire and equip new weapons and armour on your craft.

 

Project Root will be a Cross Buy game on Sony devices. You can watch a trailer for it above.
