Yoshitaka Amano Will Create The Last of Us 10th Anniversary Art

A Cook and Becker campaign for a piece of Yoshitaka Amano The Last of Us art is fully funded. The company opened pre-orders for the campaign on July 20, 2023. The goal was to fully fund the $72,871 project and create prints and posters. It passed $164% funding by reaching $119,533 as of time of writing.

The Yoshitaka Amano The Last of Us art will be an original piece of Joel and Ellie. A brief video appeared alongside it with Amano saying, “Please look forward to it. I’m going to give it my best.” However, as this is a project to fund its creation and the prints, there’s no concept art to suggest how the finished piece might look. Cook and Becker will share the final design in the middle of September 2023.

The cheapest option to get one is a premium poster of it. It will be limited to 2,000 hand-numbered prints and costs $49 unframed. The most expensive was a hand-signed deluxe edition, only 30 of which were available. It sold out. The premium art print version will be $249 and is limited to 750. The deluxe art print is limited to 370 and costs $299. It will feature “screen-printed embellishments.” Orders are open until September 5, 2023 or supplies run out.

The Last of Us first appeared on the PS3 in June 2013. A PS4 port appeared a year later. Following the release of The Last of Us Part 2 in 2020, a remake called The Last of Us Part I showed up on the PS5 and PC.

Yoshitaka Amano The Last of Us art is expected to ship in September 2023.
