On any regular day of the week, the Twitter feed of Street Fighter IV producer, Yoshinori Ono, can be found booming with lively discussion on Street Fighter IV costumes, the possibility of a Darkstalkers game, or even Ono’s friendly rivalry with Tekken series producer, Katsuhiro Harada.

This past week has been anything but normal for Capcom, though. This past week, Mega Man creator, Keiji Inafune, who some would call the face of Capcom, publicly announced his resignation from the company. In light of these events, Ono, who communicates frequently with the company’s fans, has been fielding questions on the situation.

While Ono can’t say anything that could potentially make Capcom look bad or somehow less capable in light of Inafune’s departure, he makes no secret of the fact that he isn’t happy with how things turned out.

It began with a general queries regarding his thoughts on Inafune’s resignation:

“I feel sorry indeed to have missed Inafune-san.. I couldnt understood his mind.. RT @Flamin9Rockstar: What are ur thoughts Inafune quitting?”

“I’m not too keen on working just now. I want rest for a while.RT @JoeAmoudi: After Inafune’sDeparture fromCapcom,u are company’s last hope .”

Eventually, someone asked the inevitable question regarding how Inafune’s departure would affect Capcom’s fighting game plans. Ono didn’t seem too happy with the answer he had to give:

“He’s very understanding about fighting game.it’s answer.;( “

Ono’s Twitter feed has since returned to normal.
