In Yo-kai Watch: The Movie, Nate, Jibanyan, and Whisper travel back in time after meeting Hovernyan. They must team up with Nate’s grandfather, who’s the same age as Nate due to the whole time-traveling thing, to fight a villainous Yo-Kai and save the world. While there, Nate will also learn how the Yo-Kai Watch came to be. The cast from the Disney XD localization will reprise their roles in the movie.

Everyone who attends the Yo-Kai Watch: The Movie screening will receive a Hovernyan Medal. This medal can be scanned and used in Yo-Kai Watch 2, Yo-Kai Watch: Wibble Wobble, and Yo-Kai Watch Land.

Yo-Kai Watch 2 will come to North America on September 30, 2016.
