By If the retail rumors and spontaneously released trailer by Sega USA weren’t enough indicators that Yakuza 2 will be released in North America, the ESRB just rated the game M for Mature. Sometime this year PlayStation 2 owners will step into the world of organized crime (again), which includes content like “blood”, “sexual themes”, “use of alcohol” and “violence” as stated by the ESRB. Sega still hasn’t announced a date for Europe or North America, but some retail outlets have it scheduled in September.
We still don’t know what Sega plans to do about the voice acting either. The teaser trailer below doesn’t give any clues either since it’s a montage of cutscenes with music on top. I'm still hoping for the original voice acting with subtitles as an option.
