Yatagarasu Attack on Cataclysm will be available on Taito’s NESiCAxLive arcade machines across Japan from February 12th onwards. It’s a year later than the team had originally planned and the delays have transferred to the PC version of the game too.

Using their NESiCA cards, players of the arcade version of Attack on Cataclysm will be able to track their match results, achievements and ranking data, and view it all on this website.

With the arcade version locked in, the team is now focusing on the PC version of Attack on Cataclysm, which will be coming to Steam in Japanese and English thanks to a successful Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign back in 2013.

Apparently, the new characters and game systems that the Attack on Cataclysm update adds to Yatagarasu are all complete and in place. However, there are other elements that the PC version requires yet to be implemented. “Presently our designer KOTANI’s time is fully booked, which means we are still not able to set a specific date for the PC release. Once again, our apologies for the wait. We will announce it immediately when we have visibility,” the team wrote on its blog.

Furthering this apology, those that have access to the beta version of Attack on Cataclysm will receive new keys at the end of February with additional content.
