The latest issue of Famitsu comes with new info on Yakuza: Like a Dragon, including how it will have its own Pachislot mode, more play spots, and summons. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089 1, 2 and Famitsu!]
New Characters

A former detective, who was demoted under unreasonable conditions by current Police Superintendant Horinouchi. In order to get closer to Arakawa, who has evidence, he begins to work together with Kasuga.
Saeko Mukuoda (CV: Sumire Uesaka)
A secondary cabaret hostess.
Battle Style
Kasuga: A Hero-type all-rounder wielding a bat, and can heal and protect others.
Adachi: Taiho-jutsu. He acts as a tank, and can also bind enemy movements.
Nanba: Uses umbrellas, staffs, and can blow fire and command crows to attack.
Mukuoda: Uses her cabaret job and attacks with a handbag. She can deal status effects and debuffs.
Summons
You can “summon” people to help you by spending money. There are many characters summonable that return from previous games. They will attack, heal your characters, and more.
Play Spots
Dragon Kart
A Mario Kart-esque kart racing video game that takes place on the streets of Yokohama. If you get the item boxes, you can get items like Rocket Launchers, Gatling Guns, and more.
Theatre
Kasuga is the type of person to fall asleep at movies. This play spot has you pressing buttons like a rhythm game in order to prevent him from falling asleep.
Pachislot
Pachislot has its own mode in Yakuza: Like a Dragon. and various popular machines like Million God, Another Code Hades, Pachislot Souten no Ken Ponyou, Pachislot Moujuuou, and more. Of these mentioned, Million God and Moujuuou are part of the Day 1 update.
You can set the height of the holes and other settings at specific points, and they won’t change even when you exit the store. These are likely the only pachislot simulators available on the PlayStation 4 at the moment.
Yakuza: Like A Dragon releases for PlayStation 4 in Japan, Korea, and China on January 16, 2020. The game releases later in 2020 for North America and Europe. The official website for the West is expected to launch soon. Read more about Kasuga Ichiban’s backstory here.
