Xeodrifter Hits Wii U On July 30th, Includes Cross-Buy

Renegade Kid’s Xeodrifter is coming to Wii U on July 30th in North America, studio co-founder Jools Watsham confirmed to Nintendo World Report. Additionally, Renegade Kid are in the process of submitting the game for release in Europe, too.

 

Xeodrifter will be another Wii U/Nintendo 3DS game that will offer Cross-Buy functionality to owners, meaning that if you already own the game on 3DS, you will be able to avail the Wii U version for free.

 

Of late, Nintendo have been making an effort to implement Cross-Buy functionality between the Wii U and 3DS at the request of developers. Some examples of Cross-Buy titles include: OlliOlli, Squids Odyssey, and Mario vs. DK: Tipping Stars.
