Xeodrifter Hits Nintendo 3DS On December 11th

Xeodrifter, Renegade Kid’s 8-bit Metroid-style game, will be released for the Nintendo 3DS on December 11th for $9.99.

 

Xeodrifter is the story of a drifter exploration the reaches of outer space. After his warp core gets damaged in a collision with a stray asteroid, he is trapped in a cluster of four planets. Luckily, the planets have the materials he needs to fix his warp core and get out, and exploring these planets is the premise of the game.

 

Xeodrifter will follow as similar game flow to Metroid games in that you’ll need to find power-ups and abilities to gain access to new areas. You’ll be able to collect upgrades to enhance your health and weapons, too, as well as find hidden paths and other secrets.
