Each DLC bundle will cost 500 yen and will include a single character, three quests that unlock that character upon completion, Arts that can be used in combat, and a unique Skell mech blueprint (or weapon blueprint in one case). Here’s a look at the different bundles:

HB DLC Pack:

  • HB will become available as a companion after completing his quests
  • HB’s unique Arts, “Atomic Bash” and “Frame Hand”
  • Blueprints and materials for the Skell “POLICEMEN”

Boze DLC Pack:

  • Boze will become available as a companion after completing his quests
  • Boze’s unique Arts, “Vortex” and “Bayonet Arts”
  • Blueprints and materials for the Skell “YUMBO”

Yelouv DLC Pack:

  • Yelouv will become available as a companion after completing his quests
  • Yelouv’s unique Arts, “Spirit Change” and “Powered Gunner”
  • A new weapon, the Multigun. The multigun can transform between a cannon, missile, or rifle, and your Arts will change depending on its form.

Axena DLC Pack:

  • Axena will become available as a companion after completing her quests
  • Axena’s unique Arts, “Overspec” and “Voltage Max”
  • Blueprints and materials for the Skell “EXCAVATOR”

Players will be able to buy all four DLC packs individually for 500 yen each, and as an added bonus, if you haven’t completed the game yet, the Fashion Equipment option will automatically get unlocked if you purchase any of the above packs.

In addition, Xenoblade Chronicles X will also have support quest packs that make it easier to acquire materials and money or experience or Union points, depending on the pack you buy. These will cost 300 yen each. Alternatively, players have the choice of buying all the DLC for the game—characters and support quests—for 2,000 yen, saving 900 yen off the regular price. This basically means you pay the cost of the four character/Skell DLC packs and get all the support quest packs for free.

All DLC for Xenoblade Chronicles X will be available in Japan on May 8th.
