Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition Trailer Takes a Look at Everything Old and New

While preparing people for the latest version of Xenoblade Chronicles, Nintendo has been gradually reminding everyone of what the Monolith Soft game entails. The latest video is quite a lengthy reminder. The new Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition trailer spends almost seven minutes looking at almost everything someone would need to know about the JRPG.

To start, this video retreads some familiar ground. Like the last Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition trailer, it reintroduces all of the main cast. That means you get to see people like Shulk, Fiora, and Reyn again. But after that, it gets into the elements that make this RPG unique. It looks at its battle system, the lands on the Bionis and Mechonis titans, the heart-to-heart relationships, and even the landmark systems and secret areas. Be careful, as it does get a little spoiler-y after the five minute mark.

Finally, this Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition trailer offers a peek at the epilogue. If you pop in at the 5:30 point, you’ll get to see Shulk and Melia on their new adventures with extra Nopon friends.

Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition will come to the Nintendo Switch on May 29, 2020. You can also find Xenoblade Chronicles on the Nintendo Wii and New Nintendo 3DS. However, only the New Nintendo 3DS version has features like Collection Mode.
