Microsoft has announced the Xbox All Access program. This is a subscription service where qualifying customers will be able to, for a limited time, sign up for two year plan that will allow them to get a Xbox One system, Xbox Live Gold, and Xbox Game Pass for a monthly fee. An official page announcing the deal was briefly live on the official Xbox website, but has since been removed. (Thanks, VentureBeat!)
There are two tiers to choose from with Xbox All Access. The cheaper plan is $22 per month for 24 months. It gets someone a Xbox One S, two years of Xbox Live Gold, and two years of Xbox Game Pass. The other option is $35 per month for 24 months and gives someone a Xbox One X, Xbox Live Gold, and Xbox Game Pass. After the two year period is over, the Xbox One console belongs totally to the person.
This means the Xbox One S Xbox All Access plan costs $528 total, while the Xbox One X plan is $840. An Xbox One S is currently $299, an Xbox One X is $499, one year of Xbox Live Gold is $60, and six months of Xbox Game Pass is $60. If purchased separately, the two year Xbox One S plan would be $659 and the two year Xbox One X plan would be $859.
Signups for Xbox All Access have not yet opened.
