Wuthering Waves is a massive new action RPG on mobile and PC. There are clear similarities to other games like Genshin Impact, which allows players to use a controller on mobile. So, what is the situation with mobile controller support for Wuthering Waves for Android and iOS players?
Can You Play Wuthering Waves With a Controller on Mobile?
At the time of writing this, there is no controller support for the mobile version of Wuthering Waves. That means there is no controller support on either Android or iOS at this time. This is quite odd since the game was touted as going to have controller support before the official release.
However, I have tested both the Android and iOS versions of the free-to-play with different controllers, such as the PS5 and Xbox controllers, and none of them work with the game for now. In fact, the controller icon in the settings only lets the player change the touchscreen joystick and nothing else for now.
Wuthering Waves PC Controller Support Explained
While there is no mobile controller support on Android and iOS for Wuthering Waves at this time, PC is a different story entirely. There is controller support available for the game right now through the game on Epic Games Store. Not all controllers seem to be recognized for now, but a few of them are.
For instance, players can enjoy the game on PC with an Xbox or DualSense controller. Considering this is the case, it seems likely that mobile controller support will arrive in the near future. It is possible this feature had to be pushed back to allow for a timely launch. In the meantime, Android and iOS players will have to deal with the touchscreen controls.
Wuthering Waves is available right now for free for Android, iOS, and PC.
