Worldwide Virtual Console Outlook: Famicom Disc Crush edition

dcrush.jpgEurope is getting their 100th virtual console game this week and it is F-Zero X, making North America the only region without F-Zero X. Considering how long it has been since we got a Nintendo 64 game I think it's a fair bet that F-Zero X will come out later this month. Maybe next week? The uneventful 101st game for Europe is J.J. & Jeff, a westernized version of Kato-chan and Ken-chan.

Meanwhile Japan gets Devil's Crush, the sequel to Alien Crush and another capable pinball game. Also notable is Famicom Mukashi Densetsu: Shin Onigashima because the original(s) were actually two games Famicom disc games sold in sold separately. Nintendo re-released the games in one package as part of the Famicom Mini collection and they are bundling them again for 600 Points on the Wii. I guess it doesn't matter too much because I can't imagine Nintendo localizing an adventure game with limited appeal. No matter though, Devil's Crush is really the gem of the week.
