To take part in the contest, participants need to post their submission to Twitter with the hashtags #GenshinImpact and #GenshinWinter by December 27, 23:59 (UTC+8). After they post, the only thing left to do is fill out a form and wait. Fifty artists will win a “Blessing of the Welkin Moon” for their efforts.

In the past, miHoYo has demonstrated an appreciation for Genshin Impact fan art and regularly retweets pieces on Twitter. For example, it recently featured these Qiqi and Ningguang works.

Another Genshin Impact contest, called the Amber AR Event, came to a close on November 1, 2020. In that event, players would travel to special, real-world locations to scan a QR code. Doing so with their smartphone’s rear camera would cause the character Amber to appear and give the player a puzzle piece which was a clue to an Instagram puzzle. Players who shared photos and solved the puzzle were entered into a sweepstake for an Amber-themed set of gifts.

Genshin Impact is available for the PlayStation 4, PC, and both Android and Apple iOS devices. A Nintendo Switch version is in development. The developers have also announced upcoming changes to address feedback regarding the Genshin Impact character, Zhongli.
