American actress Jacqueline Pinol is the voice of Rio Morales in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. If the voice of Miles’ mom is familiar to you, that is because the artist is a veteran actor who has been in many roles as far back as 1996. In the games industry, Jacqueline Pinol has voiced characters in Uncharted 3, Quantum Break, and Transformers: The Game.
However, her most notable voiceover work was her debut in Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man in 2018 and Spider-Man: Miles Morales, a launch title for PlayStation 5 in 2020. The prolific actress has again reprised her role as Miles Morales’ mother for the recently launched Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
Jacqueline Pinol has also been featured in many live-action roles, including Bosch, American Horror Story, Criminal Minds, General Hospital, and The Mentalist. As a neat Easter Egg, the artist voiced an extra character in the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse film in 2023.
