Is Ami Koshimizu in Wuthering Waves? (Yinlin Voice Actor Explained)

Yinlin’s voice actor in the Wuthering Waves English dub is Naomi McDonald. She’s appeared in video games and western animated TV series since 2011. She’s also known for playing Obrona from Xenoblade Chronicles 2, various characters in the Dragon Quest games, Clare from the Amazing World of Gumball, and Gravel in Arknights.

However, in the Japanese dub, she’s played by Ami Koshimizu (sometimes credited as Koshimizu Ami). Ami has had quite the prolific career in anime and video games. She’s played many iconic characters, with some of her more recognizable roles being:

  • Joy in Inside Out
  • Sailor Jupiter in Sailor Moon
  • Beidou in Genshin Impact
  • Zooey in Granblue Fantasy
  • Ibuki Mioda in Danganronpa
  • Ryuko Matoi in Kill la Kill
  • Barbie in various Barbie films

Kang Sae-bom plays her in the Korean dub. She seems to be relatively new to the voice acting scene, as her only credits are Royal Gardener and Snapdragon Cookie in Cookie Run: Kingdom and Panky in Pucca: Love Recipe.

As for the voice of Yinlin in the original Chinese voice over, we couldn’t find any information on her other than her name is Xiao Liansha. We’re unsure if this is her first voice-acting role or if she’s played in anything else in the past.

Wuthering Waves is now available on Android, iOS, and PC.
