Who Is the Aeon of Order in Honkai: Star Rail?

Ena, the Aeon of Order, is one of the Aeons prominently featured in the Honkai: Star Rail Penacony arc. All the Aeons have a long and complicated history, which gets messier when you take into account that some of them, Ena included, are no longer alive. Worry not, here’s everything we know about Ena the Aeon of Order in Honkai: Star Rail.

Ena, The Aeon Of Order

The Aeon of Order is known as Ena. THEY were one of the first Aeons, and THEY concerned THEMSELVES with the order of the universe and all the mortals within it. THEY also wanted to ensure that life was peaceful and orderly, free of conflict and discord.

This sounds like Ena was a pretty benevolent Aeon, but this isn’t necessarily the case. Ena wants order above all else, no matter the cost. Even if it means taking something away from people, THEY will do whatever they can to enforce order.

The Aeon of Order’s Death

Ena’s end came during the Swarm Disaster. At this time, Tayzzronth, the Aeon of Propagation, was spreading through the universe, trying to take as much of it as THEY could. Oroboros, the Aeon of Voracity, decided to incite a war between the two of them, causing widespread calamity.

Ena and Qlipoth, the Aeon of Preservation, decided to come up with a plan to stop the war, but before THEY could put THEIR plan into action, Ena disappeared, having been absorbed by a new, rising Aeon.

Ena Becomes Xipe, Aeon of Harmony

Harmony and Order are two overlapping Paths, and they overlapped so much that Ena was absorbed by Xipe, Aeon of Harmony when it finally came time for Xipe to ascend to godhood. After Ena was absorbed, Xipe partnered with some other Aeons to defeat Tayzzronth and stop the war.

With the war over, Xipe brought forth THEIR Emanators, forming the Family. Their descendants make up the Family, Penacony’s governing body. The majority of the remnants of Ena’s followers were assimilated with the followers of Xipe. While Ena isn’t exactly dead, THEY aren’t exactly alive either. What’s left of THEM resides within Xipe, though Xipe is a mostly separate entity from THEM.

Honkai: Star Rail is now available on Android, iOS, and PlayStation 5.
