With the release of My Hero Ultra Rumble, players have already begun making tier lists of their favorite characters and demanding nerfs from others. As the battle royale only launched in September 2023, players should expect Byking will add many other heroes and villains from the My Hero Academia universe. Existing favorite characters will also likely receive waves of nerfs, buffs and reworks. For the time being, it is important for players to know who the best characters are in My Hero Ultra Rumble so they can climb to the top of the Hero Billboard Chart.
What are the best Characters in each My Hero Ultra Rumble Hero Class?
As with most MOBA-style games, the heroes are sorted into different classes based on their abilities. Familiarizing yourself with these varied roles is important as each class has its own part to play when creating a balanced team that covers as many fronts as possible. In many team-based games, players may prefer to choose a specific class that suits their playstyle. I think these are the best heroes for each class in My Hero Ultra Rumble for now.
- Assault:
- Eijiro Kirishima: With Hardening as his quirk, it is no surprise that he’s among the best tanks and bruisers in My Hero Ultra Rumble. Despite his short attack range, he is a heavy hitter up close. His Special Action makes him nigh invulnerable and immune to flinching, making him the perfect person to send onto the front lines as the rest of your team attacks from a distance.
- Rapid:
- Tenya Iida: Given the rapid nature of My Hero Ultra Rumble, having a speedster like Iida on your team is a must. While he uses close-range attacks, he more than makes up for this by his ludicrous ability to speed across the arena and even travel up walls. Additionally, he can carry downed allies to safety using his Special Action, giving him an added element of support.
- Support:
- Momo Yaoyorozu: As items can make or break a team in My Hero Ultra Rumble, a character with the ability to produce them will invariably be a powerful asset in any battle. Her Lucky Bag allows her to generate a random item such as a skill card or healing item, which can provide a quick advantage. Adding to that, her basic abilities provide a strong defense for your team thanks to her shield, while her cannon offers up a strong offensive attack
- Technical:
- Toga Himiko: She is perhaps the character with the most versatile Special Action in the game. Her quirk allows her to morph into any other hero hit by her E when she reaches low health, granting her access to all of their abilities. This can give her the power to quickly turn the tables in a battle by using her enemy’s own skills against them. Along with that, she is a good close range fighter, making her useful in team fights.
- Strike:
- Katsuki Bakugo: Bakugo is probably the first hero that many fans would think of when considering destructive power, and he lives up to his potential in My Hero Ultra Rumble. His Special Action Explosive Speed combines long-range, mobility, and damage output all together as one. Given his low defensive capabilities, it is best to position him at a distance when dealing damage to foes.
My Hero Ultra Rumble is available for the PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and PC.
