Which Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Editions Should You Get?

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is right around the corner, which means players are able to pre-order and purchase the game right now. Sony offers several different editions for players to buy, so it comes down to whatever fits your budget and preferences the most. To help you out, I put together a list of everything important in the different Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 game editions you can buy.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Standard Edition

First off, there is the Spider-Man 2 Standard Edition. This is available both physically and digitally, though the physical version will be a bit different for a short time (more on that below). As you might expect, this version retails for $69.99 and comes with the game itself plus some pre-order bonuses if you get it early:

• 3 Additional Skill Points
• Arachknight Suit (for Peter Parker)
• Shadow-Spider Suit (Miles Morales)
• Web Grabber gadget

Launch Edition

The Launch Edition is slightly different from the regular physical Standard Edition of the game. It features the Launch Edition logo at the top and comes with the aforementioned pre-order bonuses. This could be a collector’s item in its own right, given the unique logo. However, you’ll only probably see it the first month or so after the game’s October 2023 debut.

Digital Deluxe Edition

In addition to all of the pre-order bonuses, this digital-exclusive version of Marvel’s Spider Man 2 sells for $79.99 and comes with a few additional features:

• 5 Unique Suits for Peter Parker

Collector’s Edition

Finally, there is the Collector’s Edition, which retails for $229.99. It comes with the pre-order bonuses and Digital Deluxe Edition content, plus these extra exclusive items:

• 19-inch statue featuring Peter and Miles fighting Venom
