To start the A Veil of Gossamer Clouds quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you need to speak to Sven in his Quarters. This guide will explain where to find the DD2 Sven Quarters in Dragon’s Dogma 2 so you can meet with the Vernworth prince in his chambers.
Where to find DD2 Sven Quarters location in Dragon’s Dogma 2
If you have progressed the main story with Captain Brandt enough in Dragon’s Dogma 2, a man named Mosse will randomly approach you in Vernworth. The NPC will then ask you to meet with Sven in his “quarters”. This quest has thrown off a lot of players, as they might not have talked to the Prince in hours and have forgotten where is his room is. Even worse, the NPC gets the name of the location wrong as its technically “Sven’s Chambers”.
The DD2 Sven Quarters location is found on the second floor section of Vernworth Castle in Dragon’s Dogma 2. The specific room can be found in the Vernworth Royal Chambers. However, for your convenience we are going to provide two map below that shows the exact location of Sven’s Quarters:

How to find Sven in Dragon’s Dogma 2
The quickest way to reach Sven’s Quarter’s in Dragon’s Dogma 2, is to enter the giant door at the center of the Vernworth Castle entrance. Upong entering the palace, you will see an open door hallway on your left. Enter it, and you will find a winding staircase.
Once you are inside the left hallway, take the winding stairs to the second floor. The stairs wrap in a circle formation. However, if you take them to the very top, you will eventually reach a straight hallways in the Vernworth Royal Chambers.
Once you’ve reached the top of the stairs, enter the hallways and walk to the very end of it. Sven’s Quarters is actually the last room in this hallway. So it’s fairly easy to find if you just walk straight. If you don’t want to get lost, you can pause your game on the 2nd floor and look for “Sven’s Chambers” on your map.
If you struggled to find the DD2 Sven Quarters location, you are not alone! I can’t tell you how many times I got lost looking for it. That is because Sven’s Chambers is only reachable through the staircase left of the entrance. If you take any other hallways, it doest not connect to the Royal Chambers area.
You also may have an easier time exploring the castle if you have the Marchers Armor set in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Although for some reason, the guards never seemed to mind me running around the castle even without a disguise. Just make sure you take the main door entrance to the castle, and take the staircase located in the left hallway.
