During the “Taking Flight” story quest you receive from the Wisp Mother in the fourth chapter of Fae Farm, she will ask you to find a mysterious portal that has been sealed to keep the dangerous miasma from seeping into Azoria. However, it’s not explicitly stated where to locate this magic portal. Also, the map doesn’t show exact paths, so it isn’t possible to really highlight. We’ll show you where you can find it.
How to reach the Mysterious Portal in Fae Farm
At this point in the game, you should have given the Wisp Mother the items she needed to give you your first set of fairy wings. Just as the Wisp Mother encouraged you to use your new wings to explore new heights of Azoria, you’ll need to use them to double-jump over the chasm in the Spooky Woods that blocked your way forward before.

Perhaps you’ve encountered this chasm before while exploring the Spooky Woods and noticed it was too large for your character to jump across. Since Fae Farm is so open maybe you jumped straight down the pit and met your fate, like myself. Thankfully, you’re teleported back to the surface and there’s really no penalty if you fall.

Hold forward and press the B button twice on your Nintendo Switch or jump twice in a row on PC to double-jump to the other platform where the portal will be. The game will then let you know the quest is ready to be redeemed. Return to the Wisp Mother to do so and trigger the next event.

This mysterious portal will be able to take you into the fae realm where the fairies reside. You can enter the portal with the Wisp Mother on the following in-game day. After this, chapter four should come to an end. You can now enter the Fae Gate and begin chapter five of Fae Farm.
