The Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth substory 14 “Neck-Deep in Love” is a tricky one, as you need to spot a boy named Tanabe who is almost completely buried in sand based on a small picture. However, the reward is very worth it.
How to find Tanabe in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth in “Neck-Deep in Love”
To kick off the event, you need to see Hitomi on West Aloha Beach in Honolulu. It shows up in Chapter 3. Basically, look where I highlighted in the map below. Be careful, as the enemies around here are quite strong for this chapter.
While you may already have spotted Tanabe, you can’t just approach him. You first have to talk to a few other buried kids for tips about which one he is. They note he’s not in the left-hand row or next to a watermelon. He is in between red and yellow parasols and is buried facing another boy named Sato.
This then narrows it down to three kids, only two of which are wearing glasses. Look for this boy in the screenshots I took below:
The two will meet at the coconut juice cart. You’ll then get to hear a sweet scene with the two meeting up. You then get a Courage Pendant for one of your allies to equip and prevent the fear status effect.
