Where Did Disgaea 3 And Other Vita Launch Games Land On The Sales Chart?

Recommended Videos

Yesterday, we got to take a look at the PlayStation Vita launch in Japan, courtesy of sales tracker Media-Create’s weekly top-20 software sales report. Today, Media-Create released the full top-50 software sales chart for Vita launch week, which gives us an idea of where the rest of the system’s launch games landed:

7. Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational – 61,412

8. Uncharted: Golden Abyss – 48,224

18. Dynasty Warriors Next – 29,181

19. Lord of Apocalypse – 28,742

22. Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention

28. Ridge Racer

30. Shin Kamaitachi no Yoru: 11 Hitome no Suspect

43. Dream Club Zero Portable

44. Touch my Katamari

50. Shinobido 2

Media-Create don’t provide sales figures publicly for games that aren’t in the top-20. Since One Piece: Gigant Battle 2 New World on the Nintendo DS sold 28,406 copies at the #20 spot, it means all games above starting with Disgaea 3 sold somewhere between that figure and 10,000 copies (which is what the #48 game sold).

You can find a comparison of 3DS and Vita launch software sales at this link.

Food for thought:

For the curious, Lord of Apocalypse on the PSP was at #24. The PlayStation Vita version, as noted above, landed at #19.

Update: We were missing Shinobido 2. The game has now been added.
