Mika and the Witch’s Mountain feels like a gracious love letter to Kiki’s Delivery Service as it encapsulates the charm and atmosphere of the movie perfectly. As you can guess from that description, Mika and the Witch’s Mountain’s central theme is about delivering packages. Some residents have lost their beloved items. These include the goblin twins, the children of Anrdos, who have lost three of their kites throughout the island. We explain where to go to retrieve these kites.
How to get the Purple Kite
Before you can look for the kites, you must start day 2. When you begin your new job, you will see a purple kite land on an electricity tower (or pylon if you prefer that terminology). With your newly attained basic broom, ride the air currents on the beach near the electricity tower to gain momentum and grab the purple kite. Afterwards, you will have to deliver the kite to the goblin twins.
Starting from the town square, you will want to head down to the beachline, where you first encountered Allegra. Go past the beach and use the air currents to glide across the sea. Fly past the helicopter crash and the rock platforms until you reach a green terrain island by itself. This is where you will find the goblin twins. After you deliver the purple kite, they will inform you that they have lost another two kites.
In case you are unsure where to go, we have taken a screenshot of the location of the goblin twins on the map.
How to get the Orange Kite
Luckily, the second kite is super nearby and should take no longer than a minute or two to get there. Head up from where the goblin twins are and use the air currents to reach the prairie grasslands littered with blue and purple flowers.
You will see several platforms close to Kiala’s campfire. The second smallest one away from the campsite is where the orange kite has landed. Make sure to utilise the airstreams in the area to attain the height to land on the platform. After you have obtained the orange kite, retrace your steps, head to where the goblin twins are, and deliver the item.
How to get the Green Kite
You can’t reach the location for the green kite until you start day 3 and obtain the Light Broom, which allows you to boost while in the air from the magical powers embedded into the broom.
From where you got the orange kite, head up until you come across a waterfall. Use the air currents to gain height and reach the terrain above. Now, head left and go past another waterfall. You will now see two air currents in front of you. Go through the first one, and while heading towards the second, use the ability on the broom to gain a boost in the air so you can reach the second air current. If followed correctly, you will now be at the mines. Straight ahead is another prairie grassland, and you will see a bunch of ledges. One of the platforms on the right side will have the green kite. Use the screenshot above as a reference point.
However, on day 3, the location of the goblin twins will change. The spoiled twins will be up from the town square on the beachline, next to the mansion. Again, if you are unsure of the location, we will provide another screenshot so you can keep track of where you are heading.
