When Is SDCC 2024?

San Diego Comic Con 2024 will run beginning on Thursday, July 25, 2024, and conclude on Sunday, July 28, 2024. This year’s SDCC 2024 will happen in San Diego, California, largely at the San Diego Convention Center. However, the event often includes other hotels in the nearby area, such as the Marriott.

The official event will happen for four days in total and include game and anime-related events like the Like a Dragon: Yakuza TV series panel and the Demon Slayer 5th anniversary event. The badge prices for the event range from around $54 for Sunday to about $79 for the other three days. That said, it is notoriously difficult to get a badge to San Diego Comic Con since there are only so many badges and many of them go to returning guests.

All Dates for the Event and Surrounding Events Explained

Though the official SDCC 2024 event is happening July 25-28, 2024, that isn’t the entire schedule, technically. San Diego Comic Con is a massive annual event and there are always other parties and activations that happen within and outside the core venue. Some of these don’t even require a badge, such as what Bandai Namco is doing this year.

As such, there are events that are happening outside of the usual scope of the four days. For instance, there is also the preview night, which will happen this year on Wednesday, July 24, 2024. There are a couple of panels this evening, plus plenty of games to get involved in as a warm-up for the real deal.

San Diego Comic Con 2024 will happen in San Diego, California from July 25-28, 2024.
