Epic Games included some odd crossovers in the past in Fortnite battle royale, but this is one of the weirdest yet. Fortnite and Tesla are coming together to offer the (in)famous Cybertruck vehicle in the game for the first time, and the release date is much sooner than you might expect.
What is the Tesla Cybertruck Fortnite release date?
The Tesla Cybertruck crossover was just announced, the release date is iincredibly close. Players will be able to check out this behemoth of a motor vehicle when it arrives in the battle royale on July 23, 2024. This is just a day after the July 22, 2024 announcement first came up for the crossover.
As for the exact time players will be able to experience the Cybertruck, that is unknown for now. Usually, the general updates for Fortnite happen in the early mornings in North America. But there have also been updates around noon on the east coast, so be sure to keep an eye out for a new patch.
How will the Cybertruck work in Fortnite?
How the Tesla Cybertruck will work in Fortnite is also currently uncertain. More than likely, this Cybertruck will be a certain type of vehicle players are able to find in the world. This would be similar to the sports cars, SUVS, semi-trucks, and other ones already in the game.
There is a chance the Cybertruck will work differently than those, though. Perhaps it could be found only in certain locations. In addition, it may function differently. There could be more health for it, due to its signature metal shell. Presumably, the Cybertruck will only be available for a limited time, so check it out while you have the chance.
Fortnite is available for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and mobile devices. The Cybertruck will be available in-game beginning on July 23, 2024.
