What is the Stardew Valley 1.6 Console Release Date?

At the time of writing, there is no official release date for the Stardew Valley 1.6 update on consoles. Unfortunately, all we know about it is from developer ConcernedApe, who has stated that the update will come out for other platforms besides PC “as soon as possible.” This likely indicates that it will take some more time for the update to be ready for consoles and mobile.

This sort of process often takes more time on consoles than it does on PC, which is the reason behind the wait. When update 1.6 does come to other platforms, though, it will be available on all of them, including Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PS4/PS5, and the Xbox platform.

When we could see Stardew Valley update 1.6 release on consoles

As for when we could see Stardew Valley 1.6 come to consoles, it is hard to say at this time. This often happens when PC gets a major update first, and then it comes to consoles and mobile later. If we follow the same general track record of past major patches, it is worth noting that update 1.5 came out for PC in December 2020.

This was followed by a console release in February 2021, only a couple of months later. As such, we expect to see the console release of Stardew Valley 1.6 somewhere around May or June 2024. It would be surprising for it to not release for consoles by the end of the summer in 2024.

Stardew Valley 1.6 is available right now for PC. It will also come out for Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S in the near future.
