For people wondering when Chainsaw Man volume 12 is coming out, Viz Media announced exact release dates for both it and the Buddy Stories light novel side-story collection. It also showed off the cover art for both. Buddy Stories will appear first. It will launch on July 25, 2023 and feature Denji and Power on the cover. The English version of volume 12 of the manga will appear after on October 3, 2023. It features Yoru on the front.
First, here’s the Buddy Stories light novel announcement. It first debuted in Japan in November 2021 and features art from mangaka Tatsuki Fujimoto to go with Sakaku Hishikawa’s stories.

Next, here’s how Chainsaw Man volume 12 looks. This is the first volume to cover the second part of the series and features one of the new lead characters, Yoru. It picks up the story from chapter 98.
