What is the LEGO Fortnite Equipment 4th slot for?

The 4th equipment slot in LEGO Fortnite is the most mysterious of the bunch, especially since it has a different icon than the others. If you open up your menu in the game, you’ll find the four equipment slots in the bottom right corner. Three of them look exactly the same except for the fourth, which has a triangle-like design.

This triangle indicates what the slot is for, which happens for your glider. Yes, there are gliders in LEGO Fortnite, similar to those in the main battle royale experience. This glider goes here and allows you to zip around the map much faster whenever you are jumping off from a higher point in the world.

How to unlock the Glider in LEGO Fortnite

Of course, knowing what the fourth equipment slot is for is only half the solution. You also need to be able to craft a glider to use in the slot. To do this, you must first upgrade your crafting bench to level 2 to get it from common to uncommon and then from uncommon to rare. This will allow you to build a loom in your settlement.

Once you have both of these, you’ll need to gather silk and wool and turn them into thread at the loom. Use them again at the loom to make the thread into fabric. Then, you can craft the glider by taking the silk and wool fabric and mixing it with Flexwood Rods.

Lego Fortnite is available for Android, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
