What to do with Cult of the Lamb Dissenters and Dead Bodies

There are several ways to dispose of bodies and deal with dissenters, most of which involve a grave. Regarding the disposal of bodies, you can choose to bury them or harvest meat from them to feed your cult. Yes, your followers can cannibalize each other if you have the right doctrine.

This can be unlocked by collecting faith from your followers to obtain Commandment Stones. A total of three Commandment Stone pieces are required to make a single Commandment Stone, so use these wisely.

How to Dispose of Dead Bodies

No one wants dead bodies lying around. This is how you can dispose of bodies in the following ways:

  • Harvest for Meat
    • You can carve the flesh from dead followers to feed to your coven. However, you will want to make sure you have the doctrine that will allow them to cannibalize without any real reprocussion.
    • This has no cost, but will negatively affect cultists that don’t believe in cannibalism.
  • Bury the Body
    • You can create graves through the crafting station to bury bodies. You will want to do this quickly, as leaving a dead body out will impact faith and hygiene. Basically, never leave your game idle as cultists will age and die and negatively impact these two integral things if left to rot for too long.
    • Graves cost a total of 5 Wood and 10 Coins.

How to Deal with Dissenters

Dissenters can cause friction in your cult, sometimes resulting in more than one follower leaving. So make sure that you keep your cultists happy so they don’t lose faith. But if they do, here are some methods to soothe or rid yourself of the problem:

  • Reeducate Them
    • This will take multiple days, and sometimes a dissenter staying will impact your other cultists. But I’ve never found it to be anything too detrimental. This keeps you from doing more drastic things, which brings us to our next option.
  • Kill or Sacrifice Them
    • This is the fastest and easiest way to get rid of a dissenter. You can choose to sacrifice them, which immediately removes them as a potential thorn in the side of your cult. But this will cost you a follower. However, if your faith is already pretty low, this is an easy way to boost it while eliminating the problem.
