So what exactly is “???”? I mean, how do you even say that? Just call it the Mystery Perk. Basically, It’s actually one of the most useful things you can get in the entirety of the God of War Ragnarök Valhalla DLC. So what are these “memories of the collector” then?

Well, it’s the game’s clever way of telling you what’s in store for you when you use the Mystery Perk.

Accessing the memories of the collector using the Mystery Perk

So the description, “memories of the collector are sealed within,” is pretty literal. By using the Mystery Perk, you’re actually accessing an entire catalog of relics. Luckily, it’s easy to access too. First, you want to go to the mystery perk in the menu. Once highlighted, destroy it by holding the square button. That’s all it takes to tap into the full power of the memories of the collector. However, what does that mean for Kratos?

From this point onward, if a relic charge runs out, the perk will activate and randomly give you a new one. You heard that correctly: an infinite random refresh of relics through the passive ability Collector’s Memory. See, they were telling you exactly what was inside.

This is a huge boon on your runs. It can be the difference maker in a long drug out fight or help you quickly mop up a mob. Look for the perk in skull rooms and red rifts. Additionally, you should definitely aim for it if you’re taking on Show Me Mastery difficulty.

God of War Ragnarök is available now exclusively on the Playstation 4 and 5.
