Last week in Japan, it was raining iron and an assortment of alien parts with the release of Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain, Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 04: VR Kit, and Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster for Switch. Here’s a look at how they performed in their opening week according to Famitsu’s sales tracker.

 

At #1 we have Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain with 55,563 units sold on PS4. This could be seen as a bit of a drop considering most of its previous entries sold easily over double of that in their debuts. The Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 04: VR Kit charted at #2 with 26,634 units sold, followed by Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster for Switch at #3 with 16,839 units sold.
