Bandai Namco revealed the animated opening for That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Isekai Chronicles, a side-scrolling RPG spin-off game based on the Tensura series. The game is set to launch on August 8, 2024, for the PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam.
The game itself is set to feature both city-building and action elements, and the animated opening channels both as Rimuru and his crew set about building up the Jura Tempest Federation to the song “S.O.S.” by TRUE. Additionally, the end of the video shows a DLC roadmap with the first pack set to include new buildings, quests, and the character Hinata. Those who purchase the season pass (or the Deluxe edition that contains it) will also receive a collection of sidequests titled “Remembering Shizu”.

The release date for Isekai Chronicles was previously announced alongside a trailer showcasing both gameplay and story elements. Meanwhile, Season 3 of the anime adaptation is currently available for streaming over on Crunchyroll.
