Aniplex has uploaded the opening song and sequence for Blue Exorcist: Shimane Illuminati Saga. The opening song for this series is UVERworld’s “Eye’s Sentry.”
The single for the song will come out on March 6, 2024. It’ll be available as both a physical and a digital release. This is not the first time that UVERworld sang a song for Blue Exorcist. The band sang “Core Pride” and “One Drop Impact,” which were the first openings for the original series and the Kyoto Saga, respectively.

The opening shows the majority of the main cast, which comprises of the Okumura twins, Rin’s classmates, Shura, and Mephisto. It also hints at some of the events that’ll happen later in the arc, such as Izumo’s importance. However, it’s fairly vague, which makes it a safe opening to watch for those who have not read the manga or are caught up on the anime. This is the third anime series for Blue Exorcist, so here is a guide for those who need to watch the previous entries of the show.
Blue Exorcist: Shimane Illuminati Saga is available on Crunchyroll. The full version of “Eye’s Sentry” will come out on March 6, 2024.
