By This past weekend Tatsunoko vs. Capcom made its debut in the USA at the EVO 2008 Championship series. Capcom chose to make EVO a test location, a smart choice considering the caliber of 2D fighting prowess at the tournament. The clip below doesn’t even have all the announced characters. Gold Lightan is notably absent. The video does bring back memories of Marvel vs. Capcom with the Aerial Rave notice and the character combinations. Ryu/Casshan and Chun-Li/Yatterman are shown in the video below.

Capcom still hasn’t confirmed or rejected a Tatsunko vs. Capcom release in the USA. The quality of the game looks like something Capcom USA will eventually release in North America even if it means swapping characters due to licensing issues.
