By Capcom has brought the Mega Man series in many brave new directions, but it’s always the 2D Mega Man games like the Mega Man ZX series that I enjoy the most. Rockman ZX Advent is due out in Japan on July 12 and picks up the story after the events of Mega Man ZX. There are two new heroes, Grey who was in cryogenic stasis and Ashe a ruin hunter to play as. Both of them start with the Model A biometal, which is based off of Axl from Mega Man X7. When equipped with the Model A suit the two heroes use dual pistols, can charge a homing laser and a Giga Crush where they shoot all of the enemies on the screen. Drawing more from Axl’s abilities the Model A biometal lets players transform into defeated boss characters.
