Following hints and teases about the Devil May Cry 3 Switch version adding a new feature that would allow style switching on the fly, it was finally confirmed on January 16, 2020. While initially this was accompanied by screenshots, there’s a better way to see how it works. Capcom has released an official Devil May Cry 3 style switch trailer looking at Dante using the new feature.

The Devil May Cry 3 style switch trailer begins with Dante using the Trickster style. He then transitions to Swordmaster. After dealing some damage up close, he backs up a bit and goes into Gunslinger. From there, he heads into the Royalguard style. Finally, he closes the video out by going swiftly through Swordmaster, Gunslinger, and Royalguard for a combo.

This is only one of three Devil May Cry 3 announcements. There will be one more in January 2020, followed by another in February 2020. There are no hints about what these could be. Though, at the end of the announcement from Producer Matt Walker, he does use a notable quote from Devil May Cry 3. He says Dante’s famous, “I’m sure you have time for one more game… right?”

Devil May Cry 3 will come to the Nintendo Switch on February 20, 2020, and it is immediately available on the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. Both Devil May Cry and Devil May Cry 2 came to the Nintendo in 2019.
