By It has been nearly eight years since the last Chocobo Dungeon game and Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon: Toki Wasure No Meikyuu is bringing back the franchise. In the game you play as a chocobo and explore rogue-like dungeons where the world reacts to your every step. Other Chocobo Mysterious Dungeon games presented players with randomly created dungeons and plenty of references back to the Final Fantasy series. From the teaser video it doesn't look like Square-Enix is going to deviate from the formula much besides polishing the graphics.
