SNK shared new Samurai Shodown Cham Cham footage, and the match-up is quite appropriate. In the latest video, she’s fighting her older brother, Tam Tam. The segment allows people a chacne to see how the two characters’ fighting styles compare.
Both Cham Cham and Tam Tam are Samurai Shodown staples. While initially she appeared to fill in for his absence in Samurai Shodown II, the siblings both appeared in entries like Samurai Shodown IV, Samurai Shodown VI, and now this 2019 reboot. While the two have a similar background and, as such, might resemble each other a bit, Cham Cham focuses heavily on claw-like attacks and boomerang usage compared to Tam Tam’s use of his sword and fire.

Fortunately, people don’t have to wait to get her. The Cham Cham DLC launched back in March 2021. She’s the first character in the Season Pass 3 lineup of characters. The Last Blade’s Hibiki Takane is the second fighter who’ll appear. The identities of the other two remaining people in the $19.99 pass are still unknown. However, one will be a crossover character from Guilty Gear.
Samurai Shodown is available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and Google Stadia.
