Watch A Colossal Titan Dance Around A Small Japanese Town

A Japanese artist and augmented reality enthusiast going by the name “Kamo C” has made Colossal Titan from Attack On Titan dance around a small Japanese town. You can see its moves in the video above.

 

This was a project commissioned by the video site Niconico. To make it happen, the creator had to construct a large AR marker in the shape of Hatsune Miku that took up an entire office space.

 

Once done, the marker was then set-up in an open field, while a drone carrying the camera that would recognize it was steered up high into the sky. The drone was necessary as the height of the shot required for the camera to recognize the marker had to be at least 150 meters in the air.
