By The Samurai Spirits series (aka Samurai Showdown in North America) is getting a major overhaul. K2, who recently finished up work on Tenchu Z, is developing Samurai Spirits Sen for arcades and it looks more like Samurai Calibur than a SNK game. Considering how well King of Fighters: Maximum Impact turned out, this transition could be a step up for the Samurai Spirits franchise. But King of Fighters: Maximum Impact was still in 2D, Samurai Spirits Sen is three words and in three dimensions.
