Wario Land II Blazes A Trail Through Japan Virtual Console Next Week

Next week, Japan gets yet another Gameboy Color title on the 3DS Virtual Console—Wario Land II is scheduled for release on April 4th. Captain Syrup breaks into Wario’s castle and makes off with his treasure, and you need to chase after her.

 

Like in a lot of his other games, Wario can’t really be hurt in Wario Land II. Since you won’t do much dying, your progress is hindered using obstacles and puzzles.

 

Interestingly, Wario Land II also has multiple endings, which you can uncover by discovering hidden exits in the game. The game will cost 600 yen (about $7).
